Solar film I think the best should be V-kool but again there are many grades and of course different price. To say which brand is the best, its a tough call.

Some of the film have a hazy tint. Perhaps you set yourself a budget and go along with it. Frankly, to pay more than $500 for plastic film, I feel the pinch.

I prefer simple old fashion rubber mats. Cheap and good. I hate those curly wire looking mats where the supplier will cut to your size. After 6 months, their corner will turn upwards, hard to clean also. Sad

thanks guys.

know it's real tough now to try to get all these now... (bad move on my part).

he mentioned that the co gave a $12K discount and you guys probably don't have this discount. (did you?)

not too worry about the bar and dash but would be great to have the mat and film. good suggestion from ventus though. may approach the boss to say why mat and film not thrown in if cannot get thru.

keep you guys posted the outcome.....

Don't remember getting a 12K discount Sad

Never trust what these ppl say. But unfortunately you booked already. My own experience, during test driving and we were very keen, SE said max max she can only give $8k discount and that is only 1k more than what was advertised. On the day I was supposed to sign, showed her my friend's booking and what he got. Then she relented and I got
1. $10k discount
2. Garmin gps with reverse camera
3. 3M solar film

I was lucky because if I had signed already I will get nothing!

Original car keys have immobilizer chip and it is a remote control as well. No alarm.

if u need to install alram then need to cut wire, that will be over write the the immobilizer.

then u cannot use the original key remote control.

I guess additonal alarm system can be installed. But ain't our cars insured?

Nowadays I noticed some cars alarm sounding in car park, but nobody takes a second look if it is going to be stolen. So my take is, gone are the days you need those steering clamps, brake/clutch pedal hooks, etc....

Serious car jackers will come with tow truck, put the car on a flat bed platform and it is gone!

I don't see there will be any SERIOUS car jackers interested in Pugs lar... if really need a flat bed to steal the car, use the flat bed on a beemer is more worth while Laughing

Heart pain hearing you guys have all the free gift... I only have 3M film free. I have to pay for the wind deflector (original only 2pcs, driver and front passenger) and mud guard I requested. But that time I booked mine the COE still at the low side.

Sold my 5008 this week after 7 yrs using it. Love - Hate relationship. Peace of mind now. Love the driveability n its looks. No doubt there were major issues with the car every yr of ownership but decided to cherish the good memories of the ride instead. Peaceful parting with my French 'mistress'...lol. Do miss it once in a while. Tks everyone! Enjoy ur Pug.
